Abstract

The study tittled Psychoactive Substance Use Among Young People was designed to determine prevalence and patterns of Psychoactive Substance use among young people in Nigeria. The study adopted an exploratory research design obtaining Data from secondary sources which includes published articles and journals first use. The study discovered from data gathered that prevalence of substance abuse among young people is high and recommended strategies for the treatment of the effect of substance abuse.
